Kittatinny Manufacturing has extensive experience machining castings of many types, ranging in size from a few ounces to over 2,000 lbs. We machine castings made of gray iron, ductile iron, steel, brass, and aluminum. Our staff will work directly with the foundries to provide our customers the service they need. Typical products include pump housings, gear boxes, bearing housings, valve bodies, and adapter plates.
In addition to the casting work, we supply parts made from solid bar stock, plate steel burnouts, tubing and steel weldments. At Kittatinny Manufacturing we use state-of-the-art CNC Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers and typically machine a wide range of parts. Some of the parts we’ve machined include pump housings, flanges, clevises, gear boxes, and adapter plates. We typically work with materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum brass, gray iron, ductile iron, bronze, and plastics. Using machining centers such as the Doosan HP 4000, we’re able to accommodate a wide variety of projects at our 28,000 square foot facility.
Using our state-of-the-art CNC Lathes, we are capable of machining long round parts such as shafts, spindles, pins, tubes and rings. We have numerous CNC lathes from leading manufacturers such as Doosan, Hyundai, and Mazak, which are capable of machining common metals like steel and iron as well as soft metals like aluminum, copper, bronze, and even plastic.
Our lathes have spindle capacities up to 24 inches, contain multiple turrets, and produce power outputs up to 50 HP.
